brutal black death from expats living in Tokyo, Japan. Retch was formed out the ashes of the band Darkorpse. Starting as a quartet, line-up changes and personal conflicts have led to them charging on as a two piece. Rather than suffering at the loss of members, their paired down primitive sound has left them more focused than ever. The riffs are tight and technical, the drumming is vicious and fast with pummeling double bass and blistering blast beats. Fantastic woodblock art by drummer Thom Smith is featured on the cover and insert.
